I’m in dire need of a North Carolina (Mecklenburg County) family law attorney who would be willing to work pro-bono on a complicated child custody case. I am desperate for a miracle. I do not qualify for legal aid. Can someone out there offer any help or recommendations? Serious answers only please, thank you.

I don’t know of any pro-bono lawyers, but I got my divorce through a local lawyer, you can email me if you want for more information, I’d rather not put it out in this area. He helped me out alot & he handles custody as well, which is my next move that I’ll be looking into.
I think you should probably get the idea of a “free lunch” out of your head. Just start thinking of ways that you can pay for this. There’s no other way around it. People just don’t work for free.
